So I've just realised my daughter maybe a five day training gymnast but to the power hungry mum this is their life??!
I have of often gone over the years before she turned elite to the nice happy gym chatted and then dropped off my daughter at the local gym. However that all changed when she advanced to her new gym, the elite power hungry mums that take over gym types! Time to drop off so many more sessions to do so little life left of my own, I just left never having time to stay and be the gossiping gerty! So you may have guessed I stayed!!
To the untrained eye you are now being watched, scrutinised and dissected! Your whole clothing is being priced and possibly being purchased! Your hand bag is even being questioned is it nice is it real? How much was it? How real it is will probably depend on the rest of the wardrobe your wearing and what vehicle you drive?? You just thought this was a gentle drop off and yet you've walked into a mind field of them and you!! This has all happened at the door just as you've walked in, the same group of women who stand there day in and day out in the same spot! You decide to smile and acknowledge the glares and wonder what initiation comes next? However there is silence so you walk to the viewing area and proceed to sit and watch. Wow there are normal mums there after all! Hi.........
